Favorite of the Month: The Emperor's Soul by Brandon Sanderson (my high point of the month at 3.5 Stars O_o)
Least Favorite of the Month: The Wrath & the Dawn by Renee Ahdieh, because I had such high hopes for it but the romance just didn't work for me.
Most Interesting of the Month (or Book I Learned the Most From): The Shift: One Nurse, Twelve Hours, Four Patients' Lives by Theresa Brown- through this, I saw a bit more of the nurse's perspective, and it was a bit frightening, to be honest.

I am glad your weather is warming up! My mom gave me a gift card to get some plants to plant this spring, but it's already starting to get too warm out. I hope I'm not too late! I'm sorry The Wrath & the Dawn wasn't better for you. Sounds like you had a good reading month though otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have a great week!
I'm glad it's warmer here too. Since you're in California (which I'm assuming has a longer growing season) you're probably good- my mom just started some seeds the other day. I think I had a good reading month too- I just need to find some better books! :)

No four or five stars, that's not a great thing reading wise. I know it gets better for you though because, as usual, I am comment vomiting backwards!
ReplyDeleteHa- you know the future that way! ;) I am almost through with The Parable of the Sower, and I think it'll end up 4+ stars, so hopefully my star totals for July will end up nicer too!
